20141201 Saw this poster and felt it was fitting. Sometimes we are think we are the prey and sometimes we feel like the predator in life. Whats's up guys! James here, Just wanted to take a moment and share this article about indoor skydiving. Although I disagree with labeling indoor skydiving as a fitness fad, this piece highlights the positive physical benefits of the sport and you may be surprised at how physically demanding flying in a wind tunnel actually is. I can definitely say that going through the instructor course to be an iFLY instructor was one of the most challenging things I've ever done. Instructing students in a wind tunnel continues to be challenging everyday. At times, I step out of the tunnel absolutely exhausted and drenched in sweat (according to this article, instructors can burn upwards of 1000 calories per hour in the tunnel with first timers). It's well worth it though! I love teaching people how to fly their bodies. I know all of you ARCFitters are always up for a challenge, so if you're interested in the new and exciting challenge of flying in a wind tunnel, drop me a line!
