20140116 All of us have had difficulties come into our lives, some small, some large and some seemingly gargantuan. Some physical, some emotional and some financial and some encompassing it all. And more will come, such is life ;-). It is the constant reminder from posts, emails and stories from others who are facing their difficulties with resolve, fortitude and hope that I am reminded that it is a choice to allow your difficulties whatever they may be to either knock you down or cause you to fight back and triumph. When you apply this to your time at the gym do not get discouraged by that missed lift or the fact you are slower or weaker than before. Use your “weakend state’ to build a better stronger resolve and a better and stronger ‘core’, a more mobile and stable body. You will come back stronger than ever, both physically and mentally! 20131122 Hi everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful Friday! We started the morning off right!! It was a chilly 36 degrees when at 8am inside the gym so we had to make sure you guys were moving and staying warm. I think we succeeded!! Thanks for making my Friday morning fun!! 20131106 It was a fun filled day at Fearghal CrossFit!! Best Part for Coach H was the 5min ME KB Snatch WOD at the end. We don’t do enough KB workouts (we just need more days in the week, lol) so when we do bring them out they are a reminder of how precise KB work should be. When you hit it spot on it seems so easy but if you are just a 1/4 inch off that KB feels three times as heavy. SOTS 3-3-3 then Hang Power Cleans ot :45 at 80% 4rds, 85% 4rds then 5min ME KB Snatch
20130908 As we enter the week of September 11 we will be honoring all those who have served, sacrificed, and have been lost these past twelve years with a week of hero WOD’s 2013. Take a moment to reflect this week about this unforgettable day and be sure to hug those people around you that you care for.
